Sankalita Ray Das 46th Lorne Genome Conference 2025

Sankalita Ray Das

As a dedicated researcher with over a decade of expertise in cancer biology, molecular biology, and genetics, my work focuses on unraveling the role of novel disease genes and variants in brain cell biology. By investigating these molecular mechanisms, I aim to better understand brain development and how these variants contribute to the tumour microenvironment. My research also explores their potential for targeted therapies in specific cancer subgroups. Utilising human cell lines, including induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), and zebrafish models, I am committed to advancing our understanding of brain development and cancer biology.
